I get this information from my professor in Theology...

he was a ex-seminarian, he refuse to become a priest..

It Goes that the First Part of the Old Testament, the Genesis is all MYTHICAL...

would you believe it?

it means that the part of the bible that seems to tell about the beginning or the creation world is all false...

i'm shocked because if it's true then why does the church tends to hide this from us christians..

its so confusing... f*cking teacher... Sad

WHY? it's scientifically impossible for some human to just poof out of nowhere. science proved na nauna dinosaurs bago ang tao. hindi ba? sa Genesis, sabay sabay eh.

actually, sa aking pagkakaalam, ang Genesis na nakalagay sa Bible ay isang interpretasyon lamang yun ng mga taong nag-edit ng bible about creation. it's not actually true, most of the bible stories are just symbols. stories that are related to real life, in the form of symbolism/myths.

tapos tinuro nila saten na ganyan nga ang pagsisimula ng world tapos un pala lahat ng iyon ay isang malaking kasinungalingan...

di sila fair... mali un...

^ biblical inspiration . interpreted lang naman ng author yan e. at ang genesis compiled lang ; nagmula sa iba-ibang mga author at istoryang pinagtagpi-tagpi yun. at yung iba sa mga author na yun , nabuhay nung mismong time ni Jesus .

MY POINT OF VIEW - Opinion

para sakin unang una what is written on the Bible is all TRUE.
I'm from a family who believes in God and its within you naman kung maniniwala ka.
Di naman nya tayo pinipilit na maniwala sa bibliya ee,
the only things He wants is our Faith on Him.

Rebelde akong bata pero sa totoo lang,
sya lang nakatulong sakin na maayos ang Family ko.
dati talagang di ako naniniwala sa bible - for honestly.
pero nung tlga nag ka brakedown ako kase ang family ko watak watak na.

BIBLE at Sya padin ang kinapintan ko.

I'm a born catholic. I had no other choice but to be catholic. Kasi catholic parents ko. But I would have chosen to be a Buddhist instead. Haha.

Kasi ganto yan eh. Kahit ano naman religion mo, isa lang naman ang supreme being/ entity na kinikilala niyo. Iba iba lang pangalan, at iba ibang paraan ang pag-samba. Pero lahat ng teachings sa supreme entity lang naman ang bagsak.

be it the universe, a person, a star, a god or a goddess, isa lang yan. isa lang ang source.

actually I do believe in it... read the whole book and break it apart ( himayin mu ung words) para maintindihan mu..

the biggest and shocking and scary... ay yung book of revelations.. di natin alam kung kailan mangyayare pag nabasa nyu sobrang nakakatakot Sad

kung si GOD ay almighty, gagawa ba sya ng tao nag mabubuhay sa mundo before the bible?
dahil hindi nila nabasa ang bible, sinners na sila?

DAHIL nabuhay sila before the age of the bible, sinners na sila at masusunog na sila?

gaano na katagal at gaano na karami ang mundo BAGO DUMATING ANG BIBLE?

so GOD will condemn them to hell all because they weren't able to read a book that didn't exist during their time? paano naman yung mga walang kamuang muang na cave man, etc?

if GOD's mind is this limited, then I DON'T BELIEVE in him anymore.

at least, in the organization I've been in, GOD is formless, limitless and loving.
surely, this type of GOD I believe in wouldn't condemn anyone to hell.

ok, settle down.
no one's going to burn in hell here. we're talking about God here. the almighty forgiving God, for whom sacrificed his own son for everyone, believers and non-believers, to rid them of sin.
the concept of hell, from what i have read (pero syempre, biased rin ito) , originated from the church's age-old plan to convince people of Catholicism. or so i think so, coz we'll never really know till we die. :p
pero ang point ko naman, its living a righteous life that is important. i can be a skeptic of God and still live in God's ways. I don't believe in the God that established the ten commandments, the one who said "for I the Lord your God am a jealous God" and "punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me". reflect on it, and think about what parts of the bible will you believe, because all of them is man-made. we'll never know which parts of the bible are merely smothered by human emotions.

i'm taking up theology now with my new yorker priest/prof and from what i learned (since lesson namin to) ay ito

una, myth ang genesis. it is weaved in a fanciful way to capture the readers that we have been generated by God in such a way. pero hindi ibig sabihin mali ang mga gumawa ng bible, at mga sinungaling sila, at mga ingrates sila and all. THERE IS A HIDDEN MESSAGE TO THE STORY OF GENESIS. and its too bad if you can't find it for yourself (kasi ang moment na maintindihan mo siya at mai-apply mo siya sa buhay mo ay saka lang siyang macoconsider na Word of God). kasi ang bible ay hindi factual list of events, ito ay collection ng ideas created by a real people whom have been inspired by God, along with Jesus Christ (kasi historically, totoo siya. :p.) for God's sake, you don't believe in the bible word by word! YOU EXTRACT ITS LESSON!
